Last weekend we went to the Institute of Texan Cultures Annual Asian Festival. It was a really fun day--they had tons of crafts for kids (which William LOVED); booths selling all sorts of trinkets; dance, music, and martial arts demonstrations; and the best part: booths and booths of delicious food.
Here Will, Clara, and Peter are coloring paper koi fish.
Watching a sumo wrestling demonstration . . .
Will modeling the origami Samurai hat he made . . .
Clara showing off her origami Chinese food take-out box . . .
And coloring masks . . .
A tasty look at Peter's Pakistani food . . .
And one more picture of my two cute boys :)
If you're in San Antonio next time the Institute of Texan Cultures has a festival, GO! It was a super fun day filled with lots to do and eat :)
*Peter took the pictures of the flags at the top of the post right outside of the Institute, which is also right behind The Tower of the Americas by Hemisfair Park in downtown San Antonio. And, if you're in that part of town, check out my last Kickin' it in SA post to find out what else to do!
